Top Employer Coalition
The Alliance’s Top Employer Coalition meets as needed to address common local, state, regional and national issues impacting operations in Kankakee County. Recent topics have included local and state employee training programs and incentives, local expansion incentives, facility safety, cybersecurity, employee recruitment, renewable energy and root cause analysis. Meetings frequently include plant or institutional tours.
Alliance Board of Directors Meetings
The Economic Alliance holds regular meetings of its board of directors on the second Thursdays of the scheduled months at 7:30 a.m. Meetings are primarily held at Olivet Nazarene University’s Weber Leadership Center; however, they occasionally are held offsite in conjunction with industry tours. Meetings are open.
