Statewide Bus Tour to Stop in Kankakee County

The Makers on the Move Bus Tour across Illinois will make a stop at CSL Behring in Bradley come October 10.

Designed to showcase modern manufacturing which is high-tech, clean, diverse, and sustainable, the Makers on the Move bus will visit manufacturing facilities, colleges, and high schools across the state to highlight the innovative manufacturing sector and amazing job opportunities that are available today.

Kankakee County’s strong and diverse manufacturing base showcases everything from mustard, sausage and pizza to paint, roof shingles, rebar and life-changing and life-saving medications.

The tour is sponsored by the Illinois Manufacturers Association and the Illinois Manufacturers Excellence Center in conjunction with Manufacturing Month.
