Participate in Kankakee County’s Broadband Survey

While many of our residents have dependable, affordable broadband internet, there is still a large portion of our community that lacks access to this critical tool. As part of the Accelerate Illinois Broadband Infrastructure Planning Program through the State of Illinois, Kankakee County is working to assess the broadband needs of the community.

A portion of the Accelerate program includes collecting information regarding Internet access, speed availability, affordability, and reliability across Kankakee County. It is paramount we hear from our residents about their current access and future needs. A portion of this survey is a speed test that will allow us to better understand the needs of our community.

TAKE THE SURVEY HERE – from your home computer.

PLEASE REMEMBER to take your survey over your local wi-fi connection (not cellular data) if possible. Please know the information provided through this survey will help shape our broadband plans. This survey will remain open until July 28. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Delbert Skimerhorn at dskimerhorn@k3county.net or (815) 936-5546.
