Extra Incentives for New and Ongoing Energy Efficiency Projects

ComEd offers extra incentives for new and ongoing energy efficiency projects including upgrading lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, energy management systems, refrigeration and more. Now, ComEd offers additional project incentives that can help your organization save even more on upgrades.

NEW! SPRING FORWARD
• 20% incentive for all standard applications submitted between April 18 and June 1, 2022,
including:
• Private and public sector customers who complete a standard project by June 1, 2022
• Private and public sector customers who submit a new pre-application for a standard
project by June 1, 2022, and complete the project by October 31, 2022
• This additional project incentive can be combined with other additional project incentives.

• This additional project incentive can only be applied once per project.

LEEP (LARGE ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT) AHEAD!*
• 20% incentive for private sector customers that complete a new 2022 standard project with a
final incentive of at least $50,000 by October 31, 2022.
• 20% incentive for public sector customers who complete a new 2022 standard project with a
final incentive of at least $25,000 by October 31, 2022.

SCHOOLS*
• 20% incentive for private and public sector K-12 schools who complete a new 2022 standard
project by October 31, 2022.

DISTRESSED COMMUNITIES*
• 30% incentive for customers in distressed communities who complete a new 2022 standard
project by October 31, 2022. Eligibility for these additional project incentives is determined at
city level, except for the City of Chicago where eligibility is defined by zip code.

MADE IN ILLINOIS*
• 10% incentive for installing equipment that is at least 50% manufactured or assembled
in Illinois.
• January 1 through December 31, 2022
• Manufacturer affidavit letters (emails) are required for verification.

COMBINING SPRING FORWARD
The Spring Forward 20% additional incentive can be combined with other additional incentives to
increase savings! Spring Forward is the only additional incentive that can be combined with other
additional project incentives.
