A full range of inpatient and outpatient services are provided. Some of our service areas include: Family Birthing Center, Level II Trauma Center, Regional Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Services, Renal Dialysis Center, Occupational Health Center, Physical Therapy, Wellness & Fitness Center, and Behavioral Health.

In 2006, Provena St. Mary’s received the Total Benchmark Solution (TBS) Top 25 Health System Quality Award. This is in recognition for our performance on quality measures provided by U.S. healthcare organizations to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). It is a testament to the level of commitment and spirit that lives at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital.
Riverside Medical Center is located in Kankakee, Illinois, just 60 miles from downtown Chicago. A 336-bed facility providing a full scope of inpatient and outpatient care, Riverside is recognized for its specialty programs in heart care, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics, trauma, rehabilitation, geriatrics, occupational health and treatment of alcohol and chemical dependency services. Its mission is “to provide quality caring services that improve the health status of the communities we serve.”
The Kankakee County Health Department provides access to a broad continuum of community-based services that protect, maintain and promote the bio-psycho-social health and well-being of the community, and provide a safe and healthy environment. The department continually assesses the health needs and resources available, promotes development of appropriate needed programs and assures that quality services are acceptable, available, accessible and accountable. These services are delivered in a manner that respects individual and community dignity, values and rights as well as established federal, state and local standards.
