As part of our ongoing strategic efforts to boost economic development in Kankakee County, the County Board and the Economic Development Association formed a public-private partnership in July 2007 - creating the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County, Inc. This fourteen member board is comprised of seven members of the Kankakee County Board and seven members from the private sector. The move brings a unified voice behind economic development and. provides a one-stop shop for new and existing businesses. The Alliance provides the leadership to bring together communities, businesses, labor and education while developing and implementing strategies that foster economic prosperity for the residents of Kankakee County. Mission Statement The mission of the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County is to create jobs and expand the economic base by improving the business climate. The Alliance actively supports the retention and expansion of existing businesses and attraction and recruitment of new companies. Our business is helping your business. |
